Symbiosis Ecology was set up by Sam Amy in 2025 to provide botanical surveys and habitat management advice and services, including wildlife gardening. Working at the interface between people, habitats, and wildlife, our ethos and name acknowledges that we are not separate from nature, but part of it, and embedded within the systems we study and strive to support.
Symbiosis: “a close and often long-term interaction between two or more different biological species”
Ecology: “the branch of biology that deals with the relationships of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings”
